We will take time to understand what you want to achieve, make recommendations and oversee the design process.
A garden designer understands all elements of the transformation (from planting to hard landscaping) and focuses on the aesthetic and function of the whole garden rather than one particular element.
We cover the whole of East Yorkshire and North Yorkshire with our garden design services.
Whilst Yorkshire is our main area of work, we are happy to work across the UK and have previous projects in Nottinghamshire and Herefordshire, as an example.
The average time for us to complete a full design is around 3 months but it really depends on the scale, complexity and whether other surveys or permissions are required.
We pride ourselves on clear communication throughout the whole process and keeping you informed about each step.
Build times depend on the workload and schedules of contractors, most reputable landscapers tend to be 3-6 months ahead.
All gardens require some form of maintenance, whether it's seasonal changes with your planting or keeping patios and hard landscaping looking their best.
By involving us in the process we will take time to understand what you want to achieve and make sure it's in line with how much maintenance you're comfortable with.

We don't offer hard landscaping in-house but as part of our design process we will guide you from our initial consultation to your garden being built.
Once your garden is designed we will put together a pack for your contractors to quote from and will help you at this stage. We can introduce you to contractors that we've worked with previously and we have clients that would be happy to share references and show previous work.

There are no set rules and the design process can take place through all seasons.
Whilst we will always do our best to meet your timeline, it depends on the scale of your project and the workload of contractors. In general, if you want your garden ready for summer we recommend building it over winter.
This means you'll be better prepared to take full advantage of the growing season when spring arrives and it gives your plants and trees time to establish their roots. Outside of spring and summer, we are usually able to secure better prices on plants too.
