Meet Emily - Yorkshire Based Garden Designer

With a history of floristry in the family, Emily has always been inspired by horticulture and the joy of spending time outdoors.


When lockdown hit, we all spent a lot more time at home. For Emily, this sparked a new chapter, starting in landscaping and eventually transforming her own garden in East Yorkshire, which led to a career in professional garden design.


Since launching the studio in January 2023, Emily’s work has flourished across East Yorkshire and North Yorkshire. Most clients come to Emily and her team after discovering previous projects, attracted by their distinctive style and thoughtful approach to garden design. Emily is rapidly becoming a recognised name in the industry, establishing herself as a sought-after garden designer across Yorkshire and beyond.


We are members of the Association of Professional Landscapers, TrustMark, and the Horticultural Trades Association, reassuring clients that we have been examined on the creative, technical and horticultural skills you would expect from a professional garden design studio here in Yorkshire.


Our "one stop" approach to soft landscaping has proved especially popular with clients looking to soften existing hard landscaping with beautifully designed planting. This service is delivered in-house by our dedicated soft landscaping team, from Leeds, York and Beverley, we can ensure a seamless planting process from concept to completion.


While most of our clients are homeowners and private individuals in Yorkshire, we also collaborate with architects, developers, and landscapers on a range of projects. From day one, our goal has been to build a studio that is open, approachable, and supportive of others.


Now in 2026, Emily and the team are excited to be working on an inspiring range of projects across East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and further afield and we would be delighted to hear from you too.

As our Head Designer and creative lead, Emily works closely with clients from the very beginning.


Her studio’s growth has been driven by word of mouth and a portfolio of highly regarded projects, with Emily quickly becoming one of Yorkshire’s most in-demand garden designers.

Anaïs joins the studio in 2026, bringing a caring and thoughtful approach to contemporary garden design. 


She creates beautifully considered outdoor spaces, carefully balancing planting, materials and technical knowledge. Alongside supporting Emily, she leads her own projects.

Craig brings over 20 years of experience across hard landscaping, horticulture, turf management and international sports pitch construction. 


Since we started working with Craig in 2026, he has played a key role in leading our in-house landscaping and planting projects, bringing exceptional attention to detail, technical expertise and a meticulous approach to every garden.

With extensive experience in horticulture and landscape gardening, Laura leads many of our planting projects on site. 


Working carefully with our designs, she ensures planting schemes are delivered with precision, while also providing clients or gardeners with the guidance and reassurance needed for their gardens to flourish long after completion.

Liam is our Managing Director and oversees all operational and strategic aspects of the business. 


With 10 years experience in management and project delivery, he looks after all the moving parts and ensures we are delivering for our clients every day.
